2025-26 NY Football Giants

Great line work. OL no holes for runners, little protection for QB. Someday they’ll figure it out.
 
I’m sick of this pathetic franchise. The Maras have been the cancer of the Giants for decades—every time they meddle in football ops, it’s a disaster. They’ve never gotten over the fact that the only true glory years—of the modern era (George Young and Bill Parcells) had nothing to do with them. Since then, the only competent stretch was when Ernie Accorsi and Tom Coughlin ran the show. After that? Mediocre to Horrendous. They priced out the generations of families with PSLs, built the ugliest, most soulless stadium in the Tri-State just to host a garbage Super Bowl, and left us with zero identity.
Our GM Schoen is a fraud. His drafts have been brutal, and his one “good” season came from Gettleman’s leftovers. Daboll? A fake tough guy who was carried by Josh Allen. These clowns will never build a team that’s nasty up front or even attempt to run a 2025 offense. The team is never prepared to play. Thats on the coach. The defense looked like crap. He ran Wink out of town for no reason.
The organization hasn’t had a good offensive line since 2009. Showed how good Eli really was. Fifteen years of absolute trash up front—it’s malpractice at this point. They keep talking about fixing it, and every year it’s the same revolving door of turnstiles and draft busts.
Meanwhile, Russell Wilson is cooked. The fact that Payton and Tomlin were out on him should have said he’s done. Dart might actually be a player, but with this regime, I wouldn’t trust them to develop him—or even keep him healthy. I don’t want him buying them time.
The Maras have run this franchise into the ground. They’ve taken one of the proudest organizations in the NFL and turned it into a weekly embarrassment. It’s only one game, and I’m already finished. I refuse to let the Giants ruin another Sunday at least this year.

I think it is long past time we paraphrase the old Mets joke. What a disaster. Completely inept against an overrated Washington team.
 
Daniel Jones had a great introduction to the Colt's fans. I guess he wasn't the problem here.
 
The OL was terrible yesterday and even getting Andrew Thomas is only one piece, the rest of those guys stink.

The vaunted defense, yeah a couple of three sacks, big deal, most of the day, the Commanders had their way with the D Line, the backers and secondary.

Not looking good for Jints fans.

Put the U MISS/SEC kid QB in. He will learn more playing rather than getting splinters.

You'd clearly get him beaten up badly, but it's no longer the era where teams seemed to blindly follow a strict sit-the-kid-for-two-to-three-years philosophy.

I guess it's more about the mental makeup than anything else. But'd he'd either already have the mental makeup to not let getting beaten up and blown out get to him, or he wouldn't. And if he doesn't I guess it's better to find out now.

That said, I'd put Winston in. At least be exciting in losses and he's got the arm to keep Nabers happy.
 
The owner is the problem. His family is involved in personnel decisions . John Mara is Jerry Jones without fanfare and hookers! At least Stephen compared Schoen is competent. The Giants need to name a President like George Young back in day and overhaul. They’ve been horrible in trenches/POA for over a decade. That’s scouting and personnel. Daboll is a fraud, we should have replaced him with Wink.
