So far, 3 games in, Ian is averaging 12.7 ppg playing only 17 mpg. Imagine if he improves on his weaknesses (TOs and defense), his minutes will increase and offensive numbers will only get better.

I say this not directly at you, but to the board as whole. The sooner we stop hanging on Pitino’s every word, the better for everybody’s blood pressure. He has the cache to say the things he says. The good far outweighs his punchline quotes.

Very fair point and Fordham brought it up a wwwk or 2 ago: forget what Rick says he usually says it for a reason and might say the same thing differently 5 times a day

He’s like Bill Parcells. Great motivators do that and he’s one of the greatest

Exactly like Parcells. Sends messages to players, fans, other teams, coaches. Uses it to troll, motivate, etc. Closest thing I’ve seen to Parcells around here.
