his trainer told me he's never seen someone jump higher. Gets up to 12 feet. Insane athlete
I haven't been this excited about our team since '84. This is the most amazing group of athletes that SJU has assembled in decades. That includes the coach!!!

In that case... so Pumped for the potential of this squad- esp Bryce. Feel as though he comes out with a NYC sized chip on his shoulder given he's been almost a forgotten entity with so few games the past 2 seasons... kid is really good.
If Jackson is ready to OWN/relish the PG role- aka- distributing... he has the weapons around him to strive. By his Insta post, with the giant "Point Guard" text... i think his mind is in the right place lol
I don't think we see any issues with our Offense next year... so many "scorers/shooters"... just hope they accept the Defensive intensity Rick requires.

I mean Rick has his work cut out for him, that's what I think.
Fortunately he is who he is (you can take that any way you choose) and thus I think it will work sooner or later. But it might be later than people expect.
Last I checked Pitino’s 1996 Kentucky team played with only one basketball. That team was stacked to the gills. Nine guys on that team played in the NBA. Hopefully lightning can strike again.

I'm not sure who we have who stops the opposing teams' point guards from getting downhill. Gonna be an interesting year.
I think it’ll be more up and down in general, but the highs very high and the lows still pretty good. Hopefully peaking at the right time.
He is definitely banking on "I can get guys who mostly care about offense to play defense."
I used to have cases in front of a judge who was clearly of the mind that English, spoken loudly and slowly enough, can be understood by anyone regardless of their native language. I never saw that actually work, but it did not deter her from sticking with that approach for many years.
Anyway I'm thinking Rick will probably have more success in his endeavor but it will be interesting to watch it develop.
