Would hope the third game could be against Houston or Michigan to supplement the strength of schedule as well as get another early chance to play/beat a Top 10 team.

Third game will be based on Monday and Tuesday results, per CBS:

Consolation/third-place game: 7 p.m.
Championship game: 9:30 p.m.

> All other matchups dependent on Monday/Tuesday results

Teams that go 2-0 on Monday and Tuesday will pool into the championship round on Wednesday. With only two game results to determine who gets to play for the championship and the inevitability of more than two teams being 2-0 by the end of Tuesday, point differential, total points scored and points allowed will all affect the tally and serve as tiebreakers, just like in 2024. Oregon won the inaugural 2024 event over Alabama.

Are we sure the Wednesday Nov 26 is the correct date because that would mean playing 3 days in a row. I’ve seen elsewhere where tourney goes to Nov 29.

Thanksgiving week trips are out for me unless they are in Maui in which case the wife would agree to cancel Thanksgiving otherwise she’d cancel me.

I’m more worried about my parents. Years ago we went to Turkey over Thxgiving because it was the only time I could get off and my family didn’t talk to me for weeks. It’s not like we didn’t celebrate Thxgiving heck we were in Turkey. But in hindsight that certainly wasn’t one of mjmaherjrs smarter life moves. Why don’t we just play a game or two around the Thanksgiving Holiday at CA against two cream puffs and call it a tournament?

I do find it odd that it's three games in a row.

On one hand can see that people want to get home before holiday, but flip side would think they'd want to sell rooms, spend $ casino over holilday..and most importantly think that TV time would be somewhat weak for games Wed. Night Eastern time.

Interested but not sure yet.

Blaming the Georgia loss because it was the third game in four days was just a piss poor excuse.

Two years ago we beat Utah in Charleston. That game was the third in four days.

I hammered the Georgia game myself but not for three games in four days. Having been there the place was a shitshow, someone could have easily gotten injured.

My step-father and I will be in Vegas for 4 nights Sat 11/22 to Wed 11/26. We gotta fly back East on Wednesday or our family will kill us so we’ll miss the Wednesday game.

Also, I see that the Raiders are at home vs Browns on Sunday 11/23 so that could be real fun too.

We shed too many tears down in the Bahamas in the loss to Baylor not to be at the revenge game this year.
