2025-2026 Schedule

By all accounts the 2 current non-NY locations: Vegas and Atlanta should be really fun, and easily accessible and affordable for fans. Lots of hotels and accommodations and restaurants in both locations
Been to both cities probably total of 40 times. I can't think of anything in Atlanta worth seeing or doing. The CNN center is there, they have homeless people way more aggressive than in ny. Once I stayed in midtown at the Georgia Tech conference center and was told at checkin not to go out at night because there had been shootings a block away. Mot even sure if Cheetah's is still open, but if it is would expect red.fans to be well represented.

Vegas is another story. It can be fun for a few days but the casino hotels are so damned big the ones next door can be a 25 minute walk. Advice - stay on the strip. There is a jw marriott about a mile north of strip that is really nice.

That being said I may go to either or both places.

I remember going to Atlanta a long time aqo for one of our NCAA games, it was around St. Patrick's Day. We lost to Duke on the 18th but for St. Patrick's we spent the afternoon at some restaurant. The itemized bill had to be at least a foot long. Game was held at the OMNI.

We intend to be at both places as well.

I used to go to Atlanta a fair amount on business between 2012-2016. Some really good restaurants in the downtown area which is very nice. There are safety issues for sure if you venture out at night.

Early in my career i often traveled alone. Atlanta is one of those many cities where the streets are deserted at night. Not a horrible place, just not a great tourist destination. Atlanta
lost much of its southern character decades ago when corporations located there and brought a ton of transient northerners.

I was speaking of the cheetahs at the Atlanta Zoo. Beautiful creatures.

I will take my chances being in Atlanta at night. It beats the alternative of having to be home when my anniversary is the next day (21st). Atlanta, here I come!
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Definitely heading down from Charlotte. My daughter goes to Chapel Hill so we will have interest in both games. As far as other things to do in ATL, they have a nice aquarium if that interests you and the College Football Hall of fame is great. Both reasonable walking distances from the arena. Plenty of Hotels in the area. We are staying at the Westin Peachtree Plaza

My friends daughter is at UNC and a big sports fan. If he goes down I might. Atlanta doesn't excite me and I enjoyed Vegas a lot more when I was younger.

Do you know of any hotels within walking distance of the arena?
I have a friend who lives down there and she is going to give me a bunch of hotel recos some down there and some in other parts of town because she said that area is ehhhhh. Hope there is some Braves statue for me to urinate on
