Didn't choose Depaul that game was imposed by Big East Conference scheduling and we will have already played plenty of tough games by then.

Using an available msg date for Iona still makes no iota to me unless it’s literally Rick giving back to them

i see it more of - learning from Bama/Vegas/Ole Miss.... and implementing what was learned against those teams against* Iona/Depaul... to prep for UK....

It also depends on what opponent is available for that available date. If we don’t use that date for Iona does not mean we get another MSG date for someone else.

I’m saying this somewhat sarcastically but not really, I’m sure of the 75 or so programs that aren’t Big East that are expected to be better, they could’ve found a better opponent

I actually prefer opening up (in BE play), on the road, fwiw. Shouldn't matter this year, though.

Too crazy for me and hard to get tickets even with my daughter working for MSG. I am hoping for a weekend afternoon game later in Feb with any of Creighton, Marquette or PC and I will visit for sure.

We already planned to play them and all parties had the date available so why not? It gets us another game at MSG.
