2023-24 Season

In what universe did Soriano average 25 points? And injuries are just excuses, if you play, you play. If an injury causes your production to go down to mediocre, you shouldn’t be on the court; especially if the guy replacing you is playing well. Coaching 101.
So I guess Pitino needs to enroll in a Coaching 101 class. 🤣

Thanks. Surprised it was not talked about much (or at all)

Not a fan of players working through injury if it's hurting the team (and seemingly it was). Perhaps, he kept it quiet on his own, or jointly w/ staff, to not affect pro prospects. If so, not ideal and at that point Zuby might have been more successful.
No, that's just Pitino being Pitino.

Maybe, but more likely that Soriano just hit a patch of bad play, it happens. I don’t believe injuries were the reason. Everyone is nicked up with something as seasons wear on.
I don’t think for a second Pitino would have played him if he was that hurt, especially a knee.

I think he meant minutes

also think there may have been some personality clashes on last year's team that hopefully won't be there this year - we'll see.
Yes, don't you remember? There were major personality clashes and it was determined they were all Daniss' fault. P.S. I'll be pulling for Brady but fear his play might leave me pining for Conway.

Help! What personality clashes? Seriously. What did I miss?
There were a couple of posters last season that blamed Daniss for the teams failures, shortcomings and most negative world events. Weird right? It was like blaming Ernie Banks for the Cubs futility. One such baseless claim was that the team had bad chemistry and hated it's leader - Daniss. As the season unfolded and it was apparent to anyone who had ever bounced a ball that he was far and away our best player, only one prollific poster inexplicably stuck to this asinine narrative.

Not sure if you're referring to me but I was never a fan. Never saw a shot he didn't like. Not at all a true PG. Singlehandedly cost us the Creighton game. Tripled teamed, Dingle's wide open for a bunny, and he never even looks at him. That ball was always going up. If I was not the poster you were referring to, let's move on.

I wasn't referring to you.
