Wonder how John Mara feels, dad would never go 8 years with 1 playoff appearances and 0 playoffs wins

Got 4 francises that the sons took over:
Steinbrenners are the only winners, Yanks are regulars in the playoffs now.
Mara: won the SBs in 07-11, but since has made a once great francise into the Jets.
Dolan: Knicks will forever suck, he's poison, Rangers may get good soon, as shit head keep his freaking filthy hands off them THANK GOD
 
did gentleman hire this forrest gump shurmer ? I dont even remember. Barkley good draft pick. Jones probably good. I like the Slayton pickup. The rest of his I dont know the free agent pickups suck. Solder sucks

I agree that Gettleman needs to go, but Mr. Mara was no great shakes as an owner, either. Great guy, but a lousy owner. They also went 17 straight years with a losing record in the 60s and 70s, so his dad did preside over something like this.

I think Gettleman has a done a pretty good job so far. Ik the teams sucks but baker is progressing, Slayton was a steal it looks like. We have one of the best defenses against the rush. Williams is a beast and once Chase young is a Giant that line will be formidable plus add connelly and peppers back from injury plus another safety our defense will be pretty good. Jones is looking good and Saquon is Saquon. We need to get rid of solder. worst signing possibly ever for the giants. Also a over the top WR and new TE. Wish the organization accepted the rebuild a year sooner. I think both shurmer gets another year and gettleman prob 2 more. Can't keep making changes every 2 years gotta give them time to build it their way.
 
Gettleman has been awful. He rebuilt this offensive line and it’s terrible starting with the highest paid LT. The center and RT are also bad. The Tate signing was bad we already have a short slot receiver with not separation speed. Trading for Peppers was bad he can’t cover. Trading for Ogletree was bad taking on his contract and he can’t cover. Trading a 3rd and 4/5th rounder for Williams when he’ll be a free agent this year was dumb. Our starting middle linebacker is terrible Mayo is always out of position and can’t get off his blocks. He hired Shurmur who is clueless. He doesn’t know how to use his weapons. He relies on a rookie QB to decide where to go with the football instead of telling him where to go with the football by calling plays that gets Saquon the ball 35% of the time

Thought after 2011 (his 2nd sb championship), I was thinking maybe 1 more championship, to give him 3 total.
Instead he never won another playoff game, going 0-1 in the playoffs.
After 11 would anyone have have predict? No way.

I am. Yes he's having a down year but his overall career has been good so far against the run and pressuring the QB. He just needs to turn those hits on the QB into sacks more. He's young and can still has time to improve. I expect next year will bounce back year for him if giants can an actual edge rusher or if he goes to a team that has one.
 
Clutch QB, especially when facing Brady and Bellacheat.

I am a diehard jets fan. He stinks. The trade itself was incompetent, resigning him for a lot of money would be even worse
