What’s everyone think about this series?

I know we have some Curry/Warriors guys on here, I’ve made my hatred for the warriors very clear on this forum in the past, but I can’t say I’d mind if they won this one.

I’m a big Knicks fan, but also grew up with the Sixers as my local b-ball team and followed them from a young age due to Iverson. The raptors breaking the Sixers heart this playoffs hurt pretty bad for me. So I wouldn’t mind seeing the Dubs beat them.

With that being said game 1 was awesome. The atmosphere was absolutely insane. When the raptors scored their first bucket, I thought my TV was turned up too loud or something because the crowd was so noisy.

That kind of thing makes me want the raptors. A fan base, franchise and country that has never had that feeling of winning an NBA title. I know redmannorth is probably pulling for them. So even though they knocked out my secondary team the Sixers I think I’m pulling for Toronto. Should be a great series.

Here’s my hot take, whoever wins game 2 tonight wins the series. If it’s 1-1 going back to Oakland I think the warriors take the series. If it’s 2-0 Toronto I think they can see it through.

Then again a lot of this depends on Kevin Durant and if he plays. Although I’m hoping he’s already planning his flight to JFK airport

Jack, I'm a Warriors fan except when they play the Knicks. I was just starting to make business trips to Davidson (where my job wound up being relocated to) Steph's last year in school and have been a huge Curry fan ever since. I also like Klay Thompson who I think is one of the NBAs more underrated players. Don't dislike Toronto at all and love their fans so while I'm rooting for Warriors if they have to lose I won't mind seeing Toronto be the one to beat them.
I expect a great game tonight. I agree that if Warriors win tonight will be very tough for Toronto. I do think if Warriors lose and if Durant comes back for game three, they still have a decent shot.
Love the fact that it's an 8 pm game tonight.
Have you heard the rumor that the Knicks are considering trading the #3 pick to Atlanta for their two first round picks (8 & 10)? Only saw it one place so there may be nothing to it.

Me, too, Mike
If the Knicks get Barrett and two big time free agents, they immediately become competitive
But, knowing Dolan and the Knicks, they'll find a way to F it up once again
History repeating itself!!

Regarding the Knicks potential draft day trade, if it’s true that the KD and Knicks have an “understanding” that Durant is coming to NY, id be on the phone with Durant in the days leading up to draft night and ask him specifically who and what he wants on the roster. If KD commits to this franchise that has been a sh*t show for nearly 2 decades, then do whtever it takes to make him happy here

Hell of a game tonight. Warriors now have Durant, Thompson & Looney hurt. They can win in Oakland with 2 of those 3 hurt, but need to have either Durant or Klay in game 3 to win. I expect Durant to play.

Ouch. Raps had a chance to put a second dagger in the Warriors tonight, but went cold. Been a very entertaining first two games.

Missed opportunity for the raptors tonight but I actually think this series is far from over. I know I said winner of game 2 would win it all, and a lot of people are saying golden state will win both home games and finish it off in 5 or 6, but I think raptors can steal game 3. Don’t think Durant plays, hasn’t even been cleared to practice fully yet. Klay will play but if he isn’t 100% he won’t be as effective staying in front of kawhi. Nick Nurse is also a very smart coach and has made adjustments all playoffs long after losses. Should be no different this time around

What were they doing at the end of the game?
Barely any differential on the shot clock and game clock.
Didn't foul then looked like they were then looked like they would catch a steal then just watched Iggy shoot.

100% agree you have to foul there but they almost forced Curry into a dreadful turnover and had Iguodala shoot a 3 with plenty of time on shot clock.

Even without Klay and KD this is a team with more veteran talent than Toronto. Curry Green and Cousins is a nice little trio and I expect them to salt this away in 6

Love seeing Toronto up 3-1 even though they're a canadien team.
But the NBA is their usual retarded selves.
Why 2 days off between 2 home games?
If anything they should do it how the nhl does it, only 2 days off when they travel, but the idiots gotta try to prolong the season. Hope Toronto wins it tomorrow night.

It isn't 2 days off between home games. No longer a 2-3-2 format they went back to 2-2-1-1-1.

Should be a barn burner tonight! I believe we're going 7, but then again, I'm rooting for the Warriors...

Tough to watch Durant limp off the court last night. MRI today, hope it's not a torn achilles but that is what they seems to fear. Terrible timing for KD.

Am I wrong in that he can not opt out. Stay with GS for another year. Then his FA.

That's right Moose. He has that option. They mentioned it on one of the late night shows after the game.
The knicks are cursed even when they aren't playing
I blame the Knicks bad karma more than the GS Warriors playing him for KD's injury.
