1st Annual Redmen.com Most Valuable Poster Award

So many great posters. Paultzman, moose, marillac, fun, WASJU, Choz, and Desco at the top of my list.
 
Based on the criteria which states "... is the most enjoyable poster to read on Redmen.com", I have to go with espken although we haven't heard much from him lately, the guy is absolutely amazing!
 
Can't say that any one poster comes to mind as most valuable. Granted, I enjoy reading some (too many to enumerate) more than others, but I enjoy reading just about all of them -- even bobre's, who's as passionate a fan as anyone on this board. Different opinions, different takes is what makes redmen.com so satisfying and so much fun to be a part of. I can't get through a day without logging onto it multiple times. The bottom line is we all love St. John's basketball and it's great (or sorta great) to hear from everyone. That said, a heartfelt, special shout-out to jerseyshorejohnny for his above-and-beyond efforts to give long-overdue recognition to perhaps the greatest Johnny of them all, Joe Lapchick. JSJ, I eagerly look forward to the unveiling of Coach Lapchick's statue in the not-too-distant future.
 
So many good names already mentioned and it's tough to go with just one...MJDinkins, MCNPA, Moose, Paultzman, JerseyShoreJohnny are all up there...We have a lot of great contributors

lol I read so many posts on the two sites that I lose track of where I read what. My mistake.
 
A few for me that come to mind are Moose, MCNPA, MJ, and Tom in Salem. of course Paultzman and Choz on the other site for sure.
 
If this is a "time magaxine person of the year" type of award, it's Joe3 in a runaway. I like what pretty much everyone has to say, especially when things are going great with the program. Most importantly the mods and guys who keep an ear to the ground in terms of recruiting are always valued in my book.
 
Just read on JJ that MCNPA & wife are about to have their third child ... their first daughter. Congratulations & best wishes to all five of you!

(I didn't cite anyone in particular in the MVP polling, but you're most certainly among those posters whom I consider the best.)

Edit note: Misread it as something that already happened, but now Marcus is saying baby's due tomorrow.
 
Hard to pick one but the nominees should be (in no particular order): Classof 72, Marillac, JSJ, MJMaherJr, Moose, Tom In Salem.

And Fun. Only because he scares me in that Taxi Driver / John Wayne Gacy way...

Joe3 makes the "other" list.
 
If I can vote for myself than I vote for me because I think my friend MJDinkins is stealing some of my votes where people vote MJ. :)

But seriously though I have a lot of favorites because the truth of the matter is I enjoy reading everyone's posts here in good times and bad times and I come to this site first every day not just because of basketball but because I've developed some awesome friendships specifically because of this site and I like to read what everyone is writing because even people who I havent had the pleasure of meeting yet there are a lot that I consider friends.

No offense to anyone but if I had to pick one person though it would have to be Traczok. Ted Raczok. He's probably my oldest friend on this site ( we were literally pm'ing here on redmen.com over 8 years ago the night I met my fiancee and I was sooo under the influence of alcohol I told him she was asian - finding out a week later she is actually peruvian. lol but she looks asian ) and Ted and his wife Lisa were literally the 1st people to find out we got engaged this past december when we met them in Napa before the San Fran road trip game and that meant a lot to Nathalie and me to be able to share it with them as our friend first ( when they had no idea what was gonna happen )

Another thanks to Paul Massell. If it wasnt for him I'd have a hundred less friends. This site is my favorite thing on the internet even more so than pornhub. It's because of Paul and this site that I run into Kranmars after arguing politics with him in the R&P forum back when Bush got elected and we had our 1st redmen.com party and realize that not only dont we not hate each other ( actually we argued cordially) but now he is an awesome friend and I couldnt think of a cooler person to share season tickets with.

Also I think I should give a shout out to Jerseyshorejohnny because I met him from this site and I swear he might be the nicest person on this site and he is easily the biggest friend of our school (not just basketball )from this site and one of the most generous people I know and I consider myself lucky not to have just met him but to consider him a friend

Who else ? F U all ! LOL No just kidding. You guys are the best. This site has such awesome members. ( Not like that seton hall picture where they stalk kyle 2 years ago ). I've hung out with so many of you I'd vote for you all.

BUT I'd also like to give a shout out to someone who thinks I hate him so I'd like to nominate him as my co-mvp.

Jim Sims aka Realfan. Jim I nailed you with your Coach Beehive for Boeheim thing and I know you claimed you read it somewhere else which is how you picked it up but on all 3 websites that term was used only 4 times in the history of the sites and all by Realfan.

So welcome back buddy and I never tried getting you banned so I'm happy to know you are around and I mean that
