13th ship
I'm sure this late in the season, the transfer market must look like a food fight.
Seems decent players still on the board, but the better ones have 10 - 20+ colleges clamoring after them.
I'm sure the Staff is plowing through their Rolodex's. Lol.
Regardless, I think we'll still be competitive.
Correct on all accounts but just remember last year we still picked up Champagnie and Dunn very late in the game. This year there will be even more transfers, kids who decide to come home, kids who don’t want to spend a semester in an empty dorm learning online, kids who réalisé that they won’t get the college experience they hoped for. Last season the women got their best player who went to WVU and decided after a few weeks it was not for her and came home to NJ and transferred to SJU. I promise you while it seems gloomy today it will be much rosier in a few weeks. Be patient.

I have a feeling staff will find a kid we'll be happy with. Either a grad transfer to fill a limited role or a longer term project (big please) we'll watch develop over a few years.
20 high school kid and overseas player being looked at apparently.
Hmm interesting about the HS kid. Wonder who’s still out there unaccounted for at this stage who could be worth a 4 year ship?

Just saw Carte'Are Gordon on a transfer list. Transferred from St. Louis after the 2018-19 season to DePaul but never played for the Blue Demons. He played 6 games at NW Florida State Juco last season.
Decent stats at St. Louis and was a Top 75 player out of HS I think..
No clue but he may be a head case. He'll be a junior I think. A sit-out?
Wonder what Van Macon thinks of him?
I agree we need to stay away from this guy. I have family out there. He was highly recruited by SLU coach Ford. They(SLU) were happy he left as the situation was heading south rapidly.

Another guy who changes schools like most people change socks
Maybe someone re-classifying to 2020 from 2021?

Moussa Cisse is uncommitted and holds an offer from St. John's University,

24/7 indicates that he is originally from Middle Village Queens.

Moussa is ranked by Rivals as the #13 player in the class of 2020. He reclassified to the class of 2020 just 2 days ago. Prior to his reclassification he was the ESPN #8 player in the class of 2021. https://www.espn.com/mens-coll...recruit-moussa-cisse-reclassifying-2020-class

StJ's is not listed as a leader but hopefully the StJ's staff is on the phone as I type this to plead their case with Moussa's coaches, and relatives.

Jerry Myer from 24/ 7 writes:
"Has a slender build with a long wingspan. Plays with energy and chip on his shoulder. Is a mobile athlete who will chase down the ball. Quality finisher around the rim. Is a tremendous rebounder. Limited in his offensive skill set at this point. Tough defender who is a top level shot blocker. First rounder on length, athleticism and energy. Must develop offensive skills to be an impact NBA player."

Any blue blood program that has an open 'ship will be all over this kid
Having said that, I'd love to see him at St John's

Zero chance for SJU & LSU positioned well.

Definitely will be kids who want to come home, just not so sure how many will want to home to the Covid epicenter of the world :)
