I was in the schedule thread where Dave shared a tweet detailing the the non conference slate to this point. The first game on there is slated for November, 3rd. I am assuming that is going to be our first real game of the season. I looked it up and this is just 115 days away. We are getting there, folks!
As we look ahead to next season, it made me reflect a little on last season. Before we move forward, I wanted to use this thread to generate excitement for next year by looking back on some great wins from the 2024-25 season. The Arkansas loss was one that left a bad taste in my mouth, but I have been poking around youtube for some highlights from last year, what a ride it was. Wanted to appreciate that as much as possible before we go on the next ride.
Standout moments of this highlight video, for a variety of reasons
(0:00-3:20) The opening portion of this game was a bumpy, back and forth ride. One thing clear from this part of the game (unfortunately), Tarris Reed is a goddamn beast
(3:25) Kadary Richmond with a grown man move and finish that we dearly missed in crunch time of our Rd of 32 game.
(4:55) Lefty sighting!
(6:30) Jim Jackson attempts to pronounce Ayo's full last name
(6:40-9:20) As we pull away, you can really see how effective Devion Smith was when he was firing on all cylinders. Hitting jumpers, timely passes, pestering defense
(9:28) As UConn mounts a run, a hot mic picks up Zuby "Come on yall, we have to wake the f**k up!"
(10:00) Karaban cuts it to single digits and UConn gets a big roar from their fans
(10:05-10:18) Our best player doing what best players do. Can someone get me the names of the refs from the Arkansas game?

(11:15) Aaron Scott gets his hands dirty, as he always did, and scraps for an offensive rebound. Then is rewarded after a beautiful cut
