Tiki & Tierney - WFAN

This part is just me speculating, but I suspect a basic framework has already been hammered out and exchanged through backchannels. I think we are way further along in the process than non-New York media and Georgetown think we are.
I hope u r right, but history tells us otherwise but then again there’s a new sheriff (Shanley) in town. Even I’m hopeful on this one. 😎👍

Tierney & Tiki are the best show on WFAN now, IMO. I enjoyed them during football season. Although Tierney is a bit too reactionary for me as a Yankee fan. I understand the frustration about not winning a title in a decade+, but it isn't like they've taken a turn anywhere near the cycle every other major sports team in NY has over that period (or pretty much any other sports team anywhere else). They haven't had a losing season since 1992, which is a remarkable statistic no one talks about. Even with the financial resources, every other large market team has had several peaks and deep valleys during that same period.

No WS Victories = 0 for NY Yankee fans.

I know for many that's true. I fall in the middle ground there. I want titles, of course. But I also like rooting for a team that is playoff caliber every season for like 25 years (basically), with various runs and a WS type ceiling in many. When I consider other teams I root for -- SJU, Knicks, Giants, etc -- that's a helluva lot better option than what those franchises have been in my lifetime. And I'm of the age where as a NY Giants fan, my experience has been better than about 95% of the other NFL fan bases.
