Feel bad for Posh. Feel bad for the team.

Now, I hate losing and that would have been a great win, our best in years, but in the long run, the better result happened today and no matter what, get the guys back who have earned it and keep the ones coming in. This team with a coach is a problem for the rest of the league.
 
Posh, Storr, Jones, and Soriano a combined 10-51 for the game. It's amazing the game went OT, with those guys shooting like that.

Wusu has flaws (the staff seems to think he's Anthony Mason as a ballhandler), but he gives you everything, night after night. He's just not that great. I just really wish the fans would lay off him sometimes.

even if Posh took the ball instead and passed it to WUSU instead of the reverse. Isn't that why Posh is the point?
or Storr or Jones ....oh hell. too bad. they deserved better for that effort.
 
Say what you will Mike gets them to play hard if not always successful. And as someone else pointed out they were never embarrassed in the BET. Last 3 BET QF matchups under Mullin went like this: 2017 lost to Villanova 107-68, 2018 lost to Xavier 88-60 and 2019 lost to Marquette 86-54. So Mullin's last 3 losses in the BET were by a combined 99 points....

Marquette I thought with some really befuddling turnovers that were unforced and not like them. Fouling Storr in regulation up 4 on that 3 was just terrible. Also the over and back turnover (although the officials I think blew it. You have to be fully over the line both feet and ball and he was on the line).
 
He reminds me of Pat Cummings (IIRC) with the Knicks. Terrible team, decent player who should be a bench player, putting up numbers. It's not Wusu that's the problem, it's the fact that he gets so many minutes because Curbelo stunk and MA loves his grittiness

As evidenced, there is enough talent for this to be a tournament team.

I hope the kids come back with Pitino as coach. Next season can become similar to Lavin’s first year where he takes the seniors he inherited and turns it into a memorable ride.

All the while building a foundation.
