Starts today with round of 16.  Today's match on channel 2 at 3:00PM has Paris St. Germain vs. Real Madrid (1st leg).  Also, CBS is streaming Man City vs. Sporting FC (Lisbon) at the same time on Paramount+.  (It can also be seen on Galavision if you don't subscribe to Paramount+.)  Almost better than World Cup and Euro Championships as these are all star type teams.

Man. City rolled, as expected--5-0.
PSG won over Real--1-0.  Mbappe scored at the 93rd minute, great goal; he was all over today with great energy, Player of the match.  Not often you get a Neymar, Messi, Mbappe trio on the field even if only for 15 minutes.

Today, matches: Chelsea vs. Lille and Juventus vs. Villareal, both at 3 PM

Tomorrow: Ajax vs. Benfica and Man U. vs. Atletico Madrid, both at 3 PM

Quarterfinals start today (home and home format total goals determines winner). Today at 3PM: Man City vs. Atletico Madrid on CBS. Also, Benefica vs. Liverpool. Tomorrow at 3PM: Chelsea vs. Real Madrid on CBS. Also, Bayern Munich vs. Villareal.

It's Bayern Time!

FYI, match will be on Paramount pay service.

For my fellow FC Bayern fans, here are some pre-match articles for today's match:

you can also watch it in Spanish, on Glavision if you don't have Paramount. I'm looking forward to at least three gooooooooooooooooooal de Bayern Munchen calls today.;)

Ouch! Villareal should have had at least two more goals. Bayern had very few chances and Villareal packed it in. 1-0 is not the worst result, now we just have to sink the yellow submarine at the Allianz.

Spanish LaLiga teams have done very well in the first round of the quarters. Bayern lucky to have second game at home; Chelsea, not so as they have to play second game at Real Madrid and are down 2 goals. Benzema hat trick for Real was very "heady"!

Semi finals now set for end of April. LaLiga vs English Premier League.

Real Madrid vs. Man City

Villareal vs. Liverpool

Finals are this Saturday at 3PM on CBS. Real Madrid (have won most UEFA championships) versus Liverpool (have won 5 UEFA championships). Paris should be rocking as fans of both expect to win. As an aside, the game was originally scheduled for Moscow but was moved after the attack on Ukraine.

St Petersberg actually. Liverpool fans without tickets storm the gates bringing on tear gas and a 30 minute delay. You'll never walk alone to the jail cells of gay Paris.

Pool fans were entering gates manned by CA security and were upset at delays. 🙃 Actually they are now claiming fake tickets caused the delay but don't know if that is fake news.

RM goalie got the well deserved man of the match award.

Not gonna bother starting a new thread but what a freaking goal by Adeyemi in the Dortmund-Chelsea match! That was up there with prime Gareth Bale as far as I’m concerned. Completely cooked Chelsea’s new boy. Such a composed finish too.

Actually it started yesterday, but who's counting?

When are you PL guys gonna own up? That was prime Adeyemi, if you bothered to follow the Bundesliga.

I bumped last year’s thread. That post is from Feb 15 of last year.

And…hell of an academy they run in Dortmund, for sure ;)
It's not just their academy, they are very adept at sniffing out young talent throughout Europe, bring them in, and after they establish themselves, sell 'em on for a tidy profit. So far that strategy hasn't exactly worked out in terms of results.

I was being kinda sarcastic about the academy thing for the very reason that they develop all these class players and sell them. Hell, the same with their managers too. They’ve had some real talent come through their room.

Your last sentence cracks me up because I’ve often referred to Dortmund as the Tottenham of Germany. I, personally, lean towards Munich because my mother is from the outskirts of there but it would have made perfect sense for me to support both BD and TH.
