I don't think our current constant switching defensive scheme was the one Rick thought he was adopting full time when he took Vince on 18 months ago. But Zuby's emergence and the athleticism that allows him to guard 1-5 basically necessitated it. Vince just doesn't fit that scheme at all as he's much better in a scheme that lets him just camp in the lane and alter shots taken at the vicinity of the rim which is what Cooley runs.

Him becoming a bit of a focal point on offense over there is very surprising though especially with how efficient he's been so far.

Weirdly enough, Tamba looked really impressive in the amount of space he covered so fast in that last sequence, but then once he returned to the paint looked lost on their last basket.

Hard to keep kids like him these days. No doubt the staff wanted him, but he was going to play behind Zuby. So can't fault him.
