2025-2026 Season

Absolutely but we scored over 90 points in both those games as well so maybe the offense is just ahead of the defense. It would be a lot worse if we were averaging 70 points.
Of course, but do you really want to depend on shoot outs? We won a lot of close games last year with stops, not trading buckets and getting the last one. Granted getting offensively geared new guys up to par defensively is not easy, but clearly it has to be a point of emphasis and move the needle v solid remaining ooc opponents. I am putting the dead horse away. 😎

If D doesn’t improve soon, Morris Day might step in and say “I think I want to know you (Odih Odih O)”

I have gotten a different perspective on my crazy ass St. John's fandom.

I am going to try to relax more, try to watch less crazily, and not treat every twist and turn and every possession as if it is life and death.

Let's see how long this lasts, my wife says "a Game or maybe half a Game", she's probably correct. It didn't hold for the Alabama Game.

Anyway, maybe, just maybe, if this season works out as we all hope it could (or might, or will), then I will keep this "new" perspective, and roll with it.

If not, I'll just go back to being CRAZY-Bob, yelling at the court (or t.v. screen); making a fool out of myself.

as long as you are a "Fan".... that is going to be very hard to do...

I'm just impressed you lasted this far.

The past 30 years of letdowns and general suckitude vacuumed so much fandom out of my soul, that losses don't bother me one bit.

I tried to stay calm during the game. Even talked to a somewhat friendly, knowledgeable Alabama fan at halftime.

The minute the game got close and when we took the lead I found myself smacking the handrail on the stairs. (I sit on an end seat). I took the loss a lot better than most on here as my St. John’s PSTD still isn’t gone and I am really not expecting a Final Four.

Anyway I would like to be calmer the next tight game as well.
