Season Tickets

May not be the worst idea to tell the ticket office. Is it the same for the other games?
IMO absolutely no need to be ratting out brokers yet. Especially when you don’t know for sure. It’s supply and demand. They are buying the entire season. Everyone has an opportunity to buy season tix. This isn’t a Taylor Swift Concert

Just for the record for the ummmm Italian St John’s ticket holders even though DK is on our fantasy football league I’ve never met him 😀😀😀😀

I'm not buying season tickets this year, have a 2 year old with another one on the way in December, but the resale ticket prices on StubHub are insane.

Minimum $106 (without fees/taxes) for Michigan exhibition... exhibition. Alabama minimum is $264, and that's the only other MSG game listed for now.
They'll go down a day or 2 before gameday.

They haven't opened up single game tickets yet right? i assume for every MSG game this year- the 300's/Bridge and 400s should be Open... theyll be reasonable priced.

Perspective on STJ pricing.

I looked up a random Knicks game (against Memphis) in my section, 109. For three rows behind where I am (single digits), one ticket costs $372.

So for the cost of every home STJ game, that would be the cost of four Knicks games.

STJ, still the best sports bargain in the city.

I get ticket prices have gone up everywhere, last year we went to Bahamas and the second NCAAT game, but this season may crank them to another level. Just spent all day at the US Open a few couple weeks ago for mixed doubles (access to 6 matches
which included nearly all of the top Singles players) for only $35. Also went to a Mets game which was pretty cheap and got a few free Big Bird bobbleheads.

Sky high demand is certainly a good problem for the school to have, but not ideal for many fans. My friend will be in the city the weekend of the exhibition game, but no way he's spending that kind of money to go. I'll still go to some MSG games (before the baby is due), but hoping the prices come down some. It appears not every ticket is available, so I'm thinking they'll drop in price closer to November.

For anyone who can attend most games this season, absolutely the correct call to

Have a 2 year old as well and live on LI, but felt the value to have them versus secondary market for when I go was worth it. We shall see.

It looks like a broker owns the row in front of me in Section 120. The whole row is for sale for the Alabama game. They are asking $234. Wonder how much that drops.
I am in 120 with you so hope it isn’t true, but Rick’s first year I was in 119 and my whole row other than 2 other seats and the whole row behind me were clearly brokers, always all on secondary market and always random people (and a lot of times away fans). Was very annoying. I thought that would be done with. Last year I was in 110 and usually had players families or friends by me but they kept that section off this year.

I have a Mets ticket plan and consider that a better buy. Beginning in 2026 ( I have both invoices) it’s now clearly cheaper per game for an equivalent location. They do a lot for planholders too - all SJU does is ask for more money.

SJU has now landed into, “okay” on pricing. As long as they are nationally relevant I am fine with it, but if they slip back to pre Pitino level it will be overpriced.

The Knicks are outrageous prices and I stopped attending Knicks games many years ago. In my case I then went from a big fan to someone who watches a fourth quarter once in a while. Good for them that so many others disagree with me and pay it. They clearly don’t need me.
