I just received my copy of the Alumni Magazine , which is very professionally done and has good information about the University , Hearts on Fire Campaign and a nice picture of the new Basketball Facility to start Construction on this Fall.
Its interesting that as a double grad with season tickets and donor I don't get an Alumni Magazine.I just received my copy of the Alumni Magazine , which is very professionally done and has good information about the University , Hearts on Fire Campaign and a nice picture of the new Basketball Facility to start Construction on this Fall.

But I guess managing a CRM database is difficult for Mom and Pop.

Did I move 4-5 years ago? Sure. But again database management should be recognizing me as a STH and donor.
I'm not trying to be a poster boy. Just genuinely curious how many other alumni don't receive. We know that SJU is often trailing when it comes to technology and CRM is crucial in this day and age.Your plight and cause is worthy . It’s not acceptable that you are deprived of the Alum Magazine and, possibly other Announcements from the School.
A phone call to the Alumni office might be worthwhile ..
In the meantime ,,you can view the Magazine online .

I think in some shape or form, nearly everyone has had some problems. A simple call or email eill correct it. It appears they are trying to correct these deficiencies but with a supposed 195,000 alums even figuring out who is still alive is a challenge.Cleaned every day.

It's funny. I don't receive the print version of the alumni magazine. Where's Moose!!!Very nice touch the school sending the autographed team pic of last years team with the magazine
You make a lot of great points, and man, thank you for supporting Storm Marketing and Flattop. I don't care what your contributions are, what you are doing is big to me.The alumni and season ticket engagement definitely needs improvement. I'm not an alumni and a multiple-year MSG ticket only holder. Also support Storm Marketing on a monthly level and made a pretty decent contribution to Flat Top for the Repole match campaign (without being specific, an amount that gets me a certain "experience" that is TBD involving the team). Despite all that, they definitely did not account for me when it comes to renewing my MSG tickets. Apparently I could have put a deposit down towards that -- I understood the "deposit" email we got months ago as applying only to those wanting full season packages, as opposed to a full MSG only, like me. My other NIL-based contributions and donations weren't accounted for either. So, I only found out about my ability to renew for the MSG plan by virtue of this board and other friends who purchase that package. I wasn't even on their "list" that was being worked through.
All that said, I understand the challenges here from the school perspective and all the moving parts. I still ended up getting MSG only tickets that I'm satisfied with, even if not in the section I've been in the past (that was more me and what I wanted specifically with my tickets). And ultimately I'm so happy about where the program is right now I'm "easy" to deal with on all this stuff because the on-court performance is what carries the most weight for me by far.
I don't receive print or digital actually. While people move houses my email has been the same since I was 18.It's funny. I don't receive the print version of the alumni magazine. Where's Moose!!!
For comparisons sake, I've moved a whole bunch of times since graduating from UConn, and somehow the print version of their magazine still finds its way to my address. Along with the semi annual donation appeal....I don't receive print or digital actually. While people move houses my email has been the same since I was 18.
I mean do they expect people to randomly go on the website![]()

Pretty sure McLovin was after that since I'm old. But I do recall me and you used to be buddies on AIM
Moose their data is so messed up that its not even centralized. I know they are aware and hired someone in development who is highly experienced in data organization for universities. So they are trying. Reach out to the AD or development and they will at least fix this prob for you.I don't receive print or digital actually.
