What most don't realize is that the ticket office has nothing to do with the point system. They are just given a list and told to contact people in the order that they are listed, very simple. They get all the grief when people are not satisfied. We should all remember. "Don't Shoot The Messenger".When the ticket office people read this thread I just want to reiterate mjmaherjr thinks you are alll the best and I’ve never met this guy Moose![]()
This sounds like I don't get to use my pitchfork . . .What most don't realize is that the ticket office has nothing to do with the point system. I think most are past the point system part. It is the lack, timing and accuracy of information concerning the overall cost of a season ticket package that is currently causing the most angst, exasperation and confusion which is currently drawing our anger and dissatisfaction. What most don't realize is that the ticket office has nothing to do with the point system. Although I don't care myself, not tying location in both CA and MSG to one process is a change, at least for me. In the past if someone was Gold, Platinum or whatever, it was for all arenas.
Seems strange, to break this up where a person could go Platinum for CA (I know not a lot of games) and since the per seat donation is tied to MSG that same person could buy a very inexpensive seat for the majority of games at MSG.
Not knocking or cheering this but do find it odd.
That’s not a new thing. For the past couple of seasons I’ve had silver at MSG and Perch at CA.Although I don't care myself, not tying location in both CA and MSG to one process is a change, at least for me. In the past if someone was Gold, Platinum or whatever, it was for all arenas.

Honestly, maybe we should all give the athletic dept a break. Most of the glitches have been software and data driven, and beyond all those except at the highest levels. What most don't realize is that the ticket office has nothing to do with the point system. "It looks like ticket consolidators (who have not made donations beyond mandatory ones) will be limited to 6 seats and will lose prime seats because of low priority points."Honestly, maybe we should all give the athletic dept a break. Data and the lack of it continues to be a problem for the university and it appears they have hired some people with experience to remedy it. This goes far above the athletic department.
Ok, so one thing i will say is that this coming week it will be all hands on deck to provide support to anyone needing guidance or having difficulty navigating through the selection process.
There are some really nice people working and in my recent experience from Ed Kull down all have kept their cool trying to provide great service during this process.
Best I can tell, not much has changed beyond the price increases.
It looks like ticket consolidators (who have not made donations beyond mandatory ones) will be limited to 6 seats and will lose prime seats because of low priority points.
My main concern is if a significant number of seats have been blocked for university admins with low priority points. There will always be a number of prime seats available for recruits, some former players, and the spike lees of the world.
One thing I would say is that the folks in the trenches that are client facing really want this to work well for the loyal fans, so keep this in mind if you need their help this week. I'll certainly try to.
Good luck. I hope everyone here is reasonably happy with the outcome.
LGJ!
I'll answer your question with a question. No forget it.Serious question. What if someone isn't happy with their outcome. Can you back out of the donation used to boost your points?
They know who they are because they get reports of ticket resales on major sites and can easily determine STHers who have purchased a large number of STHs and how many tix were resold on the online aftermarket."It looks like ticket consolidators (who have not made donations beyond mandatory ones) will be limited to 6 seats and will lose prime seats because of low priority points."
Who are these condolidator people? Curious.
What if they are resold through the Johnnie’s account ?They know who they are because they get reports of ticket resales on major sites and can easily determine STHers who have purchased a large number of STHs and how many tix were resold on the online aftermarket.
Duke for one, cautions that they reserve the right to cancel STHs if they are resold.
Im guessing since myjohnnies allows txfers only with no mo eyary txfer through that site they prob dont monitor that. But im guessing if you txfer all your games to one party it could be flagged. I did do that when i added a feiend to my accountWhat if they are resold through the Johnnie’s account ?
Ok. Done process qent smoothly. Had support from sju with 2 calls and one text strong and got immediate response. Was surprised at the number of tickets already taken. My last year CA seats were gone but there were still good seats left. Good luck guys. I can help with any questions
So 2nd Official day... (?) ... what did MSG look like?.... Was surprised at the number of tickets already taken.
