My oldest buddy (been friends since growing up on the same block in Flushing in the last 50s/early 60s) is a fanatical Yankee fan and also has been to most of the major league ballparks. Hadn't been to Miami or Atlanta stadiums so saw the Marlins game Friday and today's Yankee game in Atlanta. He is breaking up the drive back to Virginia by staying with us tonight - haven't seen him since 2013 - will have some Green Egg grilled lamb chops and a few cold ones waiting for him and his wife when they arrive around 7:30. Good times and glad the Yanks managed to win for them today!
Good series win today. Really good outing by Stroman. Defenseless Yankees looked great in the field.
Let's hope The Pretenders show up in Toronto and at least take the series.

Just more of the great Idiot Boone fundamental baseball. But don't worry, they practice it all the time, according to that Idiot. Boone says he's not too worried about it. WTF is he nuts!! He said Volpe has made only 3 or 4 bad plays all year. F*cking Idiot.
He admits they have not played well the last month, but offers no solutions or answers.

Rodon also had no business walking an .090 batter twice, among other long counts. He's his own worst enemy. You cannot give a team who puts the ball in play consistently, 6 free passes!!
