Season Tickets

That is a good idea. I would have gladly considered that unless they set the minimum too high. They had to move CA ticket holders that will be affected by the change to seatbacks to I guess to be "diplomatic", they reseated everyone. And annoyed everyone.
Agree about being "diplomatic". They could have accomplished that by having the reseat for CA only. Given the number and quality of games at CA it wouldn't concern me if I got worse seats at CA but could retain my MSG location. MSG is what attracts the big donations.

I think we have to be realistic that the new team requires significant dollars, so the big time donors who were season ticket holders last year or last two years absolutely should jump most of us.

That being said, what is disappointing to me is that a 40 year season ticket holder (given only 29,000 points) with say 50 dollar donations a year to R/W club ($2000x4=8000 points) gets 37,000 points, but a 1 year season ticket holder (1,000 points) could make a $2000 per year pledge for the next 5 years, and be at 41,000 points and be ahead of the 40 year season ticket holder who has regularly given within his means for decades through thick and thin. That's the issue to me that is most concerning and unfair. BIG time donors should jump. Not enough weight was placed on longevity of season ticket holders (and didnt go back far enough).

I get the sentiment but what if you are in super good seats and never donated at all over 20 years, and you get the freeze your seat for 10k. There will be 15 years donors who've donated 10x that who may end up with worse seats if your proposal carried.

True, good point. Whatever they could do, would turn out to be a problem. They just should have assigned seats.

I'd like to give the ticket office a shout out. BrookJersey emailed them I guess yesterday or today and asked them about msg packages etc and getting seats in 114 and in their response to him twice they mentioned mjmaherjr. True story :)

So there was an option for anyone, regardless of how many years they've had season tickets, to retain their seats with a "one time" 10k donation? Would that "freeze" still be in place if there are additional reseats in future years?

Beast was using that as a hypothetical situation in reply to my statement.

It's called the ticket embryo cryopreservation option. That's another 5k for a 10 year freeze

Has anyone been able to purchase tickets to ERA tournament in Vegas ? When I try to login
it keeps saying error go back to main page.

Through the link they sent. All the center sections are $175 a ticket. about equal to 100's sections at MSG. Last week just about everything was still available.
Yes, and the email announcing the sale that started at 10 AM was in my mailbox at 10:25 or so. And said email suggested to buy in Section 118 or "close by". Good thing that was mentioned because 118 was pretty much sold out. Strange how that happens. Anyway, 119 rows 1 and 2 aren't that bad.

This is still full season, right, not MSG only plans?
