Season Tickets

Mad Men Not Great Bob GIF

I don’t have season tickets and this is highly frustrating reading all of this for me, I can only imagine how it feels for those of you that have season tickets. I hope it works out for all of you and if you are ever looking to sell tickets to a game last minute, let me know on the side. I can’t do the whole season but would like to take my girls to a couple of games. Good luck with all of this.

FWIW I seem to have lost about 35% of my points but the tiers appear to be about 37.5% lower than they were. So I guess depending on how they weighted the points it may be a wash or close to it for most. Will post the new point chart in a minute
Do you have the tier chart ?

Scratch that saw you posted it on the next osge

Thx

You folks who are freaking out about losing points should take a look at my post on the prior page. The point totals are lower. But the scale is also lower. So it doesn't matter if you "lost points" if your percentile is still the same.

Now, did the school put the percentile the right way? No they did not, they still don't get that "top 5%" is "95th percentile" but whatever.

REPOST:

Speaking for myself only, I "lost" about 35% of my points BUT the new tiers are about 37.5% lower than the old ones. So my percentile is about the same as it was before.

Depending on how the school reweighted things in this 2.0 release, I suspect it is more or less a wash for most. Points chart below.

Just trying to stave off a hundred "I LOST POINTS" posts. Percentile matters, not point total.

I lost percentiles!!!! lol

Just with regard to the chart it's interesting to note this (approximate) distribution:

Under 10,000 points: 50%
10,000 - 50,000 points: 30%
50,000 - 100,000 points: 10%
100,000 - 300,000 points: 5%
Over 300,000 points: 5%

You can certainly see why the school is trying to work on the bottom 80%.

I know it's an unpopular opinion and an easy opinion to have as a relatively younger fan with new season tickets. But its a shame they messed this up at the start because this is a worthwhile idea since we will need all hands on deck in this new era.

There should be a full on ledger for all fans to see exactly where their points came from and how they were tabulated. This shouldn't be that arduous of a task. Most pro ball clubs do this for their tier / rewards system.

All the $ given to NIL was supposed to be 4x, that includes merch purchases, pictures, trading cards, jackets, signed balls, raffles, auction - so much was marketed towards counting to your point system. You really should get to see it all broken down so there won't be these questions...

I lost points but stayed in the same percentile range.
