See LJSA’s postIf Ian doesn't commit and some 3 star players commit, starting will be Zuby, Bryce, Joson, Sellers and Lefteris following back up with Vincent, Luben, and Ayo.
Must bring Ian.

Lefty and Prey are going to play and play decent minutes next year. You bring in Jackson and a PG to start
Our bench is very solid w sellers, Ayo lefty Prey and Vince
I can’t believe people doubt Pitino
That is not the bench of a final four team, which I thought was the goal. Whose our backup pg?Lefty and Prey are going to play and play decent minutes next year. You bring in Jackson and a PG to start

Lefty. If not why is he on the team? That is not the bench of a final four team, which I thought was the goal. Who’s our backup pg?

I’m sure he is aware of the rankings. And would really appreciate you sharing this intel. This is why I wanted someone to post Rick’s email, so we can make sure he knows about these guys in the portal.

I like it too. Prey, Lefty and Ayo are all going to take a step forward from last year. The baseline spin dunk against Arkansas was a preview of Prey’s capabilities.Lefty, Sellers, Ayo, Prey, Vince and prob 1-2 more coming is a good bench to me.
I like lefty but haven’t seen any ball handling or play making skills that make me think he would be a serviceable backup pg. I think he’s a combo guard suited to play an undersized two right now.Lefty. If not why is he on the team?
I’m counting on this kids to improve like we’ve seen time after time in Pitino year 2.
N/MLefty, Sellers, Ayo, Prey, Vince and prob 1-2 more coming is a good bench to me.
The team as currently constituted is not the final product so I don’t think we can accurately assess starters versus bench until we have all the parts.Who is Sellers backing up? Sim is gone. Sellers is a starter.
Versus Wilcher/Smith, Luis, Scott and Zuby? 25/26 is much better offensively and nowhere near as good defensivelyJust curious. Let's assume we had a starting 4 of Jackson,Sanon,Hopkins,Zuby forget about pg for a second and bench. Just those 4
What teams do people see a better starting 2-5 ?
Very fair. I'm thinking our new 4 vs current other teams.Versus Wilcher/Smith, Luis, Scott and Zuby? 25/26 is much better offensively and nowhere near as good defensively
Although we had no idea they would be as good defensively as they were.Versus Wilcher/Smith, Luis, Scott and Zuby? 25/26 is much better offensively and nowhere near as good defensively
With Kadary taking the lead. His communication skills and court vision on defense were unmatched.Although we had no idea they would be as good defensively as they were.
Except he promised to fix Kadary’s jump shot to get him to the NBAWith Kadary taking the lead. His communication skills and court vision on defense were unmatched.
He saw things like Pythagoras. He will be the most difficult person to replace.
If he could just shoot, he would have a long NBA career. And for recruits, CRP brought out the best in him.
Kadary’s midrange was excellent until the thumb injury. And as CRP said in Vice, that Kadary was taught the mechanics, but he had to practice on his own.Except he promised to fix Kadary’s jump shot to get him to the NBA![]()
Kadary injured his thumb the last game of the season. I love him and he had an incredible year but he shot less than 50 percent from the line and was horrific from three. His jump shot was arguably worse this year than in any point in his careeer.Kadary’s midrange was excellent until the thumb injury. Eh - you knew Zuby was a rim protector and rebounder. His offensive rebounding blossomed, no question. You knew what RJ could do defensively, though the minutes certainly expanded. Scott was brought in for defense. And Smith was not awesome defensively although Wilcher took a big step forward - but those who had watched knew that Kadary was an outstanding team defender.Although we had no idea they would be as good defensively as they were.
