Welcome to St. John's, Oziyah Sellers!

I love the Sellers commitment. All based on video BUT I don’t see strictly a spot up shooter. From what I have seen he goes to the hoop aggressively. The shooting is already plus plus.
What I love about his game, besides being a silky smooth shooter, is he likes to take it to the rim and can finish through contact. He's a perfect weapon we were missing

We can put together an MSG hype video that would just be ridiculous. Mix in the history of the building: Ali-Frazier "Fight of the Century", UFC 205 with McGregor winning two belts, the Knicks and Rangers winning....with our biggest moments and insane crowd reactions from the Hardy Pitt game, winning the Big East, etc. Throw in quotes from MJ, Kobe, and others talking about it.
...and another great moment...my wife and me getting engaged at center court during a Duke vs. SJU game!!!😜

Exactly. There is video of him “trying” to dunk on guys. I respect the aggression. We have traditionally had some guys not finish at the rim. This guy has some of that. I like it.

Would be perfect. It must be curated by Mitchell’s GF. She’s terrific with the videos.
Then maybe he commits?

I just love that he has more to his game, he's not going to be sitting around at the 3 point line watching everything happen waiting for someone to get him the ball. He loves coming off screens, he can put it on the floor and take you off the dribble. He's a true threat at multiple levels

Money quotes from Rubin as well:

“In any conversation, coach Pitino is pretty much the greatest coach of all-time – I wanted to play for him,” Sellers told Newsday in a phone interview. “I want to go out the way I want to go out: I want to win a national championship.”

“Playing for him was a big part of this [decision],” he added. “And then hearing his plan for me? I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of.”

“New York is the biggest media market in the world,” Karim Sellers, Oziyah’s father, told ZAGSBLOG. “Pitino is the greatest coach in college basketball and it’s a big stage.“Oziyah is a lot like New Yorkers — gritty, hard-working and has a huge chip on his shoulders. He’s one of the hardest-working college basketball players.”
