Great finale to bring closure...
But very sad nonetheless. The toughest part is when Coach said: if we beat Arkansas we are going to the Final Fourā¦.and then he repeated it.
I believe he was correct.

Rick had a monologue about the returning nucleus for next year. He named Lefty, Reuben, Sim, Jaiden, Vince, Zubs all as guys who will return so I feel like that can end a lot of speculation regarding the portal for our players.
I feel better about the decision of benching RJ after watching that. Even when RJ was recapping the experience, he said himself there was just something wrong with him that day, and I didnāt really get the sense that it is eating him up that he sat. I think he just kind of short circuited against their defense that day.
Zuby was the one who you could tell the loss crushed him. But it was great to hear him say his last year with us will be special
Amazing year and great coverage of that team. Love the ending where it shows Rick pondering retirement and settling down in Florida, butā¦ ābasketball is in my bloodā he says. Donāt know if I see him going anywhere anytime soon. Buckle up
