I didn’t even notice. Found it weird you don’t go to your heart-and-soul guy a little more often to at least inject a little life in the team when it was needed.

I really think when RJ didn’t gun it down to a wide open Zuby on the block was Pitino’s last straw considering he was driving into oblivion the entire game.
Still, 5 minute left in your season and Richmond fouled out? He should have played.

Never fun losing hopefully it won't be too long before I can appreciate the season. AS far as today we had five assists: RJ struggled to match their athleticism and Kadary and Wilcher too few minutes with fouls. We can question several calls and I'm sure they felt the same way. Did not lose due to officiating.

It was a horrible call, but we lost because we stank on (a)shooting (b) free throws and (c) defense- the latter of which was deadly for a team like ours and evident early on.
The officiating was grotesque today. For both sides. Zero consistency for what is or isn’t a foul. I believe it hurt us more than them. But we did not lose because of officiating.
Our defense let up too many easy baskets and our offense was offensive. We missed shots from inside and outside and any where near the rim. We didn’t do enough good things on either side of the ball. Arkansas did just a little bit more. It just wasn’t meant to be today.
If nothing is falling, I don't mind our best player taking to the hole trying to draw contact.
He did that on his last play, hit two FTs and was yanked.... never to be seen again.

Kadary being on the bench had something to do with the defensive mistakes. He is a big part of the rotation and the man on man game. Having Lefty step in for him is part of the reason the defense failed down the stretch.
His 5th foul was the turning point. We were getting momentum and taking the game back. The refs forcing Kadary to the bench and Lefty into the game was what killed the run.
Not Lefty's fault. He played hard but he is not the player Kadary is.

Replays clearly showed referee errors on at least 4 redstorm fouls. The last call on Kadary was was refere malpractice!
He doesn't remind me of "fun bags."
Three things.
It's hard to win when two of your three best players have the worst games of the season.
It's hard to win when you miss layups on a regular basis.
The BE is not a physical conference and for the first time this year we faced a physical team and couldn't handle it. Kadary and RJ's games are predicated on getting to the rim an Ark swallowed them up when they tried.

Agree no matter how much of a Pitino fan you are, taking RJ out with a 4 point deficit is BS. While not shooting well he was still driving to the basket and getting fouled. No one else was doing $hit in there.
Two small points, w chance to go up by a few at end of first half, we missed a FT, made another error and ended up down four, psychological advantage Arkansas. That inability to seize the moment was replicated w the ball and down 2 in latter stage of game. At times it is all about the “little things”.
Four Big East Championships always lost our second game.
