NCAA Tournament seeding

I think Florida wrapped up a number 1 so I think all number 1s are gone, Auburn, Duke, Houston and Florida. That leaves Tenn and Alabama as 2 seeds even if Tennessee wins tomorrow don't think they jump to 1 line. But they are probably the 5th overall team.

Here is the issue with SJU in the East. If you have 2 SEC number 1s and 2 number 2s you want to split them up.

So that means Tenn and Bama are not going to be number 2s opposite Auburn and Florida.

So that leaves SJU and probably Michigan St to get paired with Auburn and Florida likely.

And that means Duke if they are in the East will be paired with either Tenn or Bama.

If the committee really plans of taking that many teams from a single conference, they should let them not be able to avoid themselves.

They won't be able to avoid some matchups, like a potential 3 vs 6 second round. Or 3 vs 11 second round.

Perhaps a 7 vs 2 second round as well. No doubt.

But my guess is they are going to want to split up their 4 BEST teams into the 4 different regions.

I'm in LIC and don't have a car, no need for one here with the trains/Uber, but this is one of the rare times I'd want one. I do think this team is very capable of making it to the second and third weeks though, we'll see.
I have never been to Providence (hoping to go soon) but have been told Arena and hotels are very close to Amtrak station.

Do not want the two... I mentioned this before but two seeds that were unranked in the preseason usually go out in round one and two, and have zero final fours. My guess is they are usually power conference teams that dominate in a down year for the conference. Which we arguably fit. If any team can break this curse it's us, though.

If I had to guess I think SJU goes to South and is paired up with Auburn with the Regional in Atlanta.

I think Michigan St gets put in the West with Florida with the Regional in San Francisco.

Just guessing Alabama in the East with Duke.

And Tennessee in the Midwest with Houston with Regional in Indianapolis.

Appreciate all of the replies about Providence, never been there and great knowing a car isn't necessary for visiting. I wrote it off months ago and only was considering a few first round cities like Seattle, Denver, and Raleigh (family there), but now it's actually looking like a pretty solid destination.

Not even you want to split them up. You are required to. We will be in either Auburn or Florida’s region.
