Butler, Thu., Mar. 13, 12 Noon, PEACOCK

I'm very surprised too but I think (hope) it's going to be big st johns crowd. The afternoon session is a finance holiday pretty much and everyone has to buy/expense way early with new rules and line up their tix and that crowd is going to be all Johnnies. The only thing I suspect though is you are going to see a lot of people walking in late because they start drinking early

I'm wondering if a lot of fans are looking past tomorrow to buy Friday/Saturday
The hardcore SJU fan is up for three games in three days but no way that most of the people who have been getting MSG to 19,000 plus lately care enough to do that. Many will wait until Friday for sure.

Prices are plummeting for today’s game this morning. My buddy and I had a limited budget so no buyers remorse but whew.

Definitely waiting this out for tomorrow if we win. UConn losing would be less fun but definitely cheaper tickets lol
was about to comment the same... cheaper than some of reg season games at MSG. if aanyone is on the proverbial fence.... HOP off and get your a$$ to MSG!

Prices for semis usually go through the roof.

My point is that our fanbase is nowhere near as engaged to show up as UCONNs.

I hope that our tone deaf decision makers are pqying attention or the re-seating will alienate long term season ticket holders. As soon as our program slips, the big donors and faculty/administrators getting the best seats will be gone but so will long term sth-ers who get pushed out of good seats.

For those watching at home , how was the Peacock Broadcast and who were the Announcers ?

The Butler guards are troublesome for us . Too big and bulky for Smith and Wilcher .
Yesterday , they combined for 41,points .

Can’t let Brooks and Thierbo ? have big games again .

Pitno has , no doubt prepared for them and has a defensive plan set up to deal with them .

The peacock broadcast was pretty good. don't remember the play by play guys. in studio, they had Spiro Didas, jordan Cornette, and 1 other ex coach. I just subscribed to peacock last night so i can watch the game while at work today.

I agree Butler game won't be easy, they outrebounded us both games. We made it up by forcing 15 more turnovers. I think the difference is that Sim had poor offensive outings in the 2 games. He's been coming around and will deliver today.

Noah Eagle and Donny Marshall on the call. Noah is really good. Marshall was harmless, but that's because it was the games really didnt matter too much. We'll see if he can keep himself from rooting against the Johnnies today.

I'm having flashbacks to the Mullin years where we won our first BE tournament game and then got completely destroyed the next day by 20-30 points a few years in a row. I hope thats what happens to Butler today.

Brooks is a great scorer but wonder if he has the stamina to be great for a second game in less than 24 hours.
