Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

We fans often questioned Rick this season about rotations and sub utilization. Bottom line is he did a very good job in juggling things in response to injuries. The prime way imo to judge that is our record, case closed.

I remember some posters going crazy when Coach put Smith back in the Georgetown game after he hurt his shoulder. What they failed to rea;ize was that the few minutes he played after being injured, gave Kadary time to rest and when he came back in, Kadary took over the game.

Sim said at Applebees the other night that he definitely wants to be back. And by his quotes it seems Rick wants him. Very nice guy off the court. You can tell at these team events that Sim is close with Brady. With hopefully increased maturity on court next year, he should take huge leap in production as a junior in CRP’s system.

Definitely hope Brady returns too. In college basketball 2025 some continuity with the roster is a HUGE advantage.

Sim and Brady have something in common besides being terrific basketball players. They are both players they we as fans have grown to love and we find ourselves rooting for them.

Luis-Zuby-Sim-Dunlap-Ayo-Prey-Lefty-Glover-Maker is a nice core of 9. Could do serious damage in the portal to supplement that. Of course, some could leave.

Good points all . It seems to me that Brady wasn’t right from day 1 of the Season , battling injuries . One after another .

That could possibly explain why on the games he did play , didn’t show the promise or improvement we expected this year

Hopefully , he returns in good health next Season and along with Sim and Zuby form a experienced trio of quality players . Getting RJ back would be icing .

We will need a lengthy Wing to replace Scott and a true PG to replace KR and Smith .

Add Lefty and Prey to the mix and our cupboard isn’t totally empty .Ayo too.

Something overlooked often is how it is exponentially harder for high school kids like Sim and Brady to make an impact in first two years considering they are not physically prepared to compete against 22-24 year olds in this transfer/portal era. In that respect Sim has acquitted himself well and Brady is a work in progress hampered obviously by his injuries.

The “good” news for Brady (being injured not a fun way) is that he will now get to be an older player for his future years.
