Docuseries Pitino: Red Storm Rising to Premiere February 11, Exclusively on VICE

Not sure why Francessa was in the Series. He’s retired and does a pod sponsored by BET Rivers. Hasn’t really been a voice in NY for awhile and NEVER really supported St. John’s through some difficult ties. Hell I thought he might pull out his Villanova fleece jacket he got from Jay Wright.

I think they missed an opportunity so far to get more “fan reaction” to how the team has become relevant. Students, faculty, Alumni and some of the older fans who sat through 35 to 40 years of dreck. I wouldn’t mind hearing from Fr. Shanley based on how much he has invested in the resurgence. Just a thought.

Amen--I said to wife that the "blowbag" is irrelevant and trying to get back into relevancy by hitching himself to Pitino and the team

I might build a statue for Zuby in my front yard. There isn’t an easier kid to root for.

The brief locker room clip they showed after the Nova loss - despite that being a nail biter with them dropping some ridiculous 3s - shows the players coming in like they had 5 wins on the year and Zuby basically in tears.

When was the last time something like that happened. St Johns is blowing up

Also I think Matt A did great job explaining the NIL landscape on the episode. Most of which he told us at Novita but he does a great job on camera. Very well spoken

I only watched the first few minutes so far and seeing Francessa was disappointing. I never liked listening to him and that's in addition to his "promised scholarship"

Hulu works fine w me. One error alert but I just reloaded VICE successfully
