@Butler, Wed., Feb. 26 , 9p, CBSSN

I just want to take a minute to thank God that Aaron Scott is okay. I saw the season swirling down the old terlit when he grabbed his knee.

Beat SHU then a week of rest for our walking wounded. These guys are warriors. Now that my heart has returned to its normal pattern I can remember how much I love this group of guys.

Speaking of that, I’m just glad covid happened during the Mike Anderson era LOL, imagine a pandemic ripping this season away from us

I always feel bad for Dayton for that reason. Obi Toppin gave them their best season in school history and the postseason gets canceled
Butler isn’t in the Big East if it was during the Brad Stevens era

I know it seemed like we didn’t play well but this is college basketball. Tons of parity and winning on the road isn’t easy. We won by almost the exact score the analytic sites had us winning by.

Close game down the stretch but we made the big plays on both ends to get the win

That would be the most St. John’s thing ever.

With all due respect, Rick said the same thing about being a tough place to play. Never bought that theory, then just plain out sucked tonight.
29 games in, we’ve still not had a stinker. Every loss by 3 or less. No SJU team in history can claim that. None. Yes we struggled mightily, but still found a way to win. On to the next.

Georgia is the one game I’d call a real stinker and it was still a one possession game. Team is unbelievable

I feel like I need to head to the decompression chamber before I go to bed tonight.
