Pro & College Basketball Gambling Investigations

Do you know who Pat Hoberg is? He's a major league umpire who got fired for violating the leagues's gambling rules. Also, there are those who believe the KC Chiefs received favorable calls from NFL referees. Do you remember the play in the Chiefs/Lions game where the LIons tight end dropped a crucial pass that would have resulted in a first down? If you looked closely at that play, the referees dropped a flag because they thought the tight end was going to catch the ball. The flag was picked up by the referees after the Lions player dropped the ball. If you think this is a minor adjustment, I have a bridge to sell you.
The phantom flag controversy occurred during the Chiefs/Buffalo game on the 4th down play in which the tight end dropped the ball. I was wrong. It didn't occur during the Chiefs/Lions game. My apologies.

Kudos, good come back. I suggest that you read about the mysterious death of Carroll Rosenbloom, the former owner of the LA Rams. As part of his morning exercise routine, Carroll Rosenbloom liked to swim in the Pacific Ocean. By all accounts, he was a very good swimmer except one morning he didn't get out of the ocean alive. Many implications and theories. You might be interested.
More so, Rosenbloom was also the former owner of the Baltimore Colts and center of the conspiracy theory that the Jets Super Bowl was fixed, ensuring the AFL-NFL merger. Two things are pretty much fact, Rosenbloom was a known degenerate gambler and he bet $3M on the Jets to cover the then 18 point spread.

Here is a discussion on the theory, certainly proves nothing but is interesting food for thought. The play that does raise eyebrows is the flea flicker play because Jimmy Orr was wide open in the end zone and was the first read on a play the Colts had run successfully several times before.

Guessing people enticing those who don’t get much in NIL.
I thought I may have a free night this week, and was considering walking up the block to a LIU basketball game since I heard they're on a five game winning streak. Out of curiosity, I looked up attendance to their last game. ....222 people.

Explicitly want to be clear LIU has not been mentioned at all in this scandal. But I doubt anyone at LIU/FDU is getting NIL and no one is watching the game. Seems ripe for shady people.
