Wilcher got into foul trouble and then he was out. Never really go into the flow of the game.

Was poor defensively, threw up a 10 foot air ball and didn’t look focused. But why Smith on the bench unless really hurt? Perhaps Wilcher’s poor play contributed to our slow start?

Wilcher does one thing always at the end of games to help the team win. It was the drive and pass to Scott for a layup.

Of course I’m happy about the win but you have to look at the whole picture and down the line.

Silly, at this point , the big picture is that we just go out there and play our game. At some point impose our will defensively and just out tough the other team. It’s never gonna be pretty for us offensively. We just score enough to win. Our defense was horrible in the first half with all the free runs to the basket etc. It didn’t matter , we locked down imposed our will and held them to 16pts the last 15 minutes of the game. It’s what we do, it’s how we win. We scored enough to win. Some guys will have good nights offensively on and off but we will smash them in the mouth defensively at some point and take the game. That’s the big picture.

Big big win but if Pitino is going to start Wilcher over Smith, he’ll have a hard time justifying his 1 point and poor defensive play today.

Think the team has a chance for a better start with Smith in the line up.
