Jake Nevin was a 80 something year old Villanova Trainer or something in 85 when they won the NCAA tourney .
He was always on the Nova bench / sideline for years as a good luck charm. Kind of like Sister Jean for Loyola .

Key to the game--Coach Rick wearing a TIE; only BE loss came with a tieless Coach Rick as did the other 2 in the Bahamas. Lately, he has kept the TIE on. Is he superstitious like Louie with the sweater????

EDIT: Nothing scheduled for MSG that day, so I would guess that date and time would remain the same.

This is going to be a tough game vs Nova. Their backs are against the wall and they are going to give us everything they have.

Good news if they keep original time (2:15) or move it to 12:00. Hope it is not a night game.
Would be interesting on how they re-issue tickets especially those that are resales.

If Wilcher hits one three it will be close and can go either way. If he hits two may be close but definite win. If he hits three, we win by 10+

Nova beat Xavier today. Agree this will be a tough one.
Two keys to win this one.
Keep number of Nova free throws to a minimum. They rarely miss one.
Tight defense on their three point shooters, Don't let them get comfortable shooting 3's.
Also tickets are priced higher at MSG. Are they going to slam STHs with an additional charge?
