Torvik had us at 14.7 pt favorites so I'm not surprised. We're at home and Providence isn't a good team. K-State has a higher Kenpom than them, as does Butler, Notre Dame, San Francisco, Georgetown, Nevada and St. Joe's -- just to name a half dozen.

Providence is also putrid when they're not at home. We all know they have one of the best home courts in the conference.

Away from it, they're 2-7. Their wins are: beating DePaul in OT, beating Seton Hall by two.
Some of their losses include: @Rhode Island (Kenpom #115), St. Bonaventure neutral court (#88), Davidson neutral (#117).

13.5 sounds right to me.

Agreed, just saying on several occasions our opening lines have shifted 2-3 points the other way at closing. Perfect for the Sam Rothstein’s of the world to play the middle and win both fav and dog wagers.

I think the beat down at Georgetown brought the spread more in line with what the analytics would make it. That said the line still seems high.

Also I will be sitting in Section 110 so will walk over to 114 at halftime and say hello to whoever is around.
