I think this lefty kid from greece is going to be a revelation. These foreign kids have high bball IQ which we desperately need.

It was just two games ago when he gave us 16 pts, 14 rebounds against Providence on the road. If Pitino thinks he's coachable and his NIL demands work within the budget, I'd love to see what he can do in a second year.

You can radically improve an undisciplined player with skills but you can't teach skills to a player with two left hands and right feet.

Sorry but I won’t believe anything coach has to say till it happens. Pitino has perfected “coach speak” to an art form. Such former quotes like “we have recruited a great group of players”, St John’s will be back fast in months” or “Brady doesn’t need to put on any weight, he’s fine the way he is” only to be turned around 180 degrees leaves me a little gun shy when it comes to believing him.

Even after following this program for 40+ years, I will still take the bait on any hint of positive news. This story makes me smile. I believe Sim has great potential. I'll root for him as hard as he's rooted for every other guy on the floor this year.

I gotta think a true point guard-1 is the number one priority in the portal. Has to be.

We also heard you can take offensive players and teach them defense and that didnt work this year.
