Well said!
As a team that finished tied for last in the Big East and got blown out in the BET by Xavier they had a couple of huge wins the first week of February and some talented players. Shamorie Ponds may not not be walking through the door today but its time to create another special moment today.

If not battling, smartly and aggressively defending, it really confirms to me this is a meh team. A packed MSG, national exposure and chance to close one out v top team in country seems mega motivation. I’m with Logen, who has coaching experience, knows the game and believes the one thing you can control is effort. Let me see that junkyard dog effort on D from start to finish.

In that case, I will deal with a loss, but not succumb to “schedule gets easier” theory.

We will definitely need sustained effort on both ends(along with everything else that you and logen mentioned), which I believe will be there, but at the same time we'll also need a combination of us having a strong offensive game, and UCONN being at least somewhat off their game.

A tall task no doubt, but certainly doable.

Ponds walking thru the door might Win us this game. He could have had 1 of those 40 point games .

Erick Barkley IS walking thur that door but , can’t play . In his prime , he would be the perfect PG for us today .
