Connecticut (MSG), Sat., Feb. 3, 12 NOON, FOX

I’m coming up from Florida just for this game. I’m expecting a competitive contest in the least and hoping we can pull the upset. It’s time for Pitino and company to put up or shut up. Time to rise to the hype and win a big game. If we are a team in the right direction with a bright future it has to start with a signature win which we have not seen yet this season. And the way Nova is playing those were not signature wins. If we lose, 1-5 in the last 6 games would not resemble a team headed in the right direction.

2 big games on Saturday. Sju can pick up a quad 1 win and a quad 2 win. Obviously beating UConn would be huge. But also WV has BYU at home. If WV wins, our win @WV likely moves up to Quad 2. Currently 7-7 in quad 1/2 games.

Would love to meet silly donovan. Go to section 114 at halftime with the rest of the board.

We had our chance against these guys with Clingan out and couldn't get it done. Clingan is a complete game changer on both ends. Providence got him in early foul trouble last night and that's pretty much the only hope we have. Hope I'm wrong but don't think we have much of a chance here

Never know as Karaban may not be available on Saturday.

Here’s what I don’t get….. weren’t all these kids good shooters at their prior schools? Pitino prioritized shooting. Do you think the upgrade in competition, going against better athletes has made it more difficult to shoot? Maybe Pitino is in a sense having to adjust as well to create more open looks. At Iona, Jenkins and Clayton were superior players in that league who were able to create their own shots.

Yes, but I also think they're taller players, in general, then what you get at the MAAC level. That extra inch or two can affect a players' vision on his outside shot, if nothing else.
