Best dunker debate

Not up there with some of the all time dunkers already mentioned but the first guy I remember putting on a dunking show in warmups was the late Ralph Abraham who played in the late 60s. The '68-'69 team which included John Warren, Joe Depre, Abraham & Billy Paultz beat a couple of top 5 teams and finished the season ranked 8th.

How are we 60+ posts into this thread and this man's name has not come up?

malik should have been mentioned.

Non Johnnies, how about David Thompson (and for that matter Stevie Thompson), and Kenny (Luke) Skywalker Walker

Boo and Porter were like frick and crack . Boo number 3 and Porter number 4.
It would have been great to see them play a full eligibility .
Reminds me that Ponds and Lovett could have been a dynamo tandem too, but Lovett went to parts unknown mid season .
Another player who might have gotten questionable advice .
Whoever hears anything about him since he left so abruptly .

Speaking of dunkers of which there are many…… which front line was best?

Wenningtin, Berry, Glass

Werdan, Sealy, Middleton

Searcy, Davis, Schaffer

Paultz, Abraham,,Cleuss

And don’t go by the teams success as there were other players like Mullin who contributed to that.
