So big win for PETA today. They have finally convinced Nabisco to uncage the animals on the Animal Cracker box. But is the monkey still wearing pants? Should he be granted the liberation from the constraints of humans? Or does he want to retain his raiments so that he can proclaim “I mock you with my monkey pants!” (Oz, BTVS). Perhaps Matthew Harrison Brady and Henry Drummond should verbally duke it out.

There is an absolutely bone chilling radio call in about 6 months before the sandy hook shooting from a young man upset at the story of the chimp who attacked his owner and ripped part of her face off. The young man went on and on about how the chimp was forced to dress like a person, eat table food, sit at the table and being regimented against his will. He then went on the say that when the chimp went berserk he was only trying to escape this torment.

It is speculated that the call was from the sandy hook shooter. You can likely find the audio online.
