A group of young alumni are currently walking the length of Long Island for the third consecutive year to raise awareness for autism. They make multiple stops along the way each year, and one of the stops is always St. John's University.
Specifically, they are walking to raise funds for The Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI). DDI is a nonprofit agency serving over 5,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
