That’s got to be tough for the kid. Sorry to hear it.

Oh boy, a nice kid who deserves better

Gosh, really don't like to hear that. This kid was so much fun to watch his freshman year, one of our few bright spots that year. However, seems like a kid who worked hard in the classroom and will have a bright future in front of him. All my best wishes for you Kassoum!

Yeah hate to hear that. He moved on to have a better situation and caught a bad break, no pun intended.

Never saw a kid regress from what he showed in half a season as a freshman. Very odd. He had that game against Marquette his second year where I thought he was back, but didn't work out in his remaining time here or at UCONN.

That's too bad that it had to end that way. This is one kid who, if I remember correctly, started playing when he was a little older. Too much missed development time really hurt him. Seemed like a tremendous athlete but basketball skills were always behind. Wish him luck. More to life than hoops.

Very sad. I wish him a speedy recovery.

No worries for a very bright kid who can play overseas if he chooses but will also have a bright career apart from basketball.

Yakwe did it the right way - hit the books hard, which will pay dividends his whole life.

Damn, hate hearing stuff like this especially to a good kid on his last go round. He had foot issues all last year to.
