Good for Yakwe but agree...Must have been tough decision.

Take away a few nice blocks and case could have been made for Mussini's first half PG play or DJ just for the scoring since no one else could...and that's not saying much !!!!!!

Nice to see KY finally get credit for that block at the rim vs Syracuse that the TV announcers kept crediting to Sima. Great job winning MVP as a very young freshman who missed the start of the season.

Absolutely. I don't think most posters realize how good Yakwe can be. As Bamafan correctly pointed out he is very young and missed the first part of the season. Go back to September 2015 and no one would have selected him to be team MVP. I for one did not think he would be eligible. Thank g d for Kansas.
The sky is the limit for Yakwe.

I'm not surprised. The kid is a freak athlete. If he can't develop his bball skills in due time, he should throw on 50 pounds and become and NFL tight-end.
