Turning point: Marvin Clark misses layup, there never recover.
Runner up: Redmen have player trapped in corner, they knock the ball off his leg out of bounds, clear as day, ref right on top of it, gives the ball to Xavier. Believe the score was tied at the time, with the gift, they score and never look back. Every game we seem to get screwed by a late call, last game it was Ponds getting called for getting plowed over, just not good enough to overcome these things.
Clark and Owens just have virtually no interest in rebounding. One board for Clark, how is that even possible? Scary that Mullin is bragging to the announcers that Owens can hit 3s, that will really dissuade him from staying out there.
Did Macura hang on the rim any less than Simon did?
Gotta get Yawke in for a couple minutes the first part of the 2nd half. Btw, he can only do one part of the pick and roll, because we see what happens when he catches(in itself amazing)the ball on the move- instant turnover.
Ponds can play such good d far away from the hoop, but he always gets caught napping and gives up the 3, how many of the obscene amount of 3s given up do we see him as the guy running toward the shooter?
Glad to see Trimble producing.
All in all, good effort, just don't have to firepower to finish the opponent off
