Craft Beer at a home game........ oh the madness! How do they allow such an atrocity?

Call me shallow or a drunk, or both, but serving beer on campus would more feel like a night out of entertainment and I would definitely attend more games at CA. Plus serving beers on campus would certainly generate decent revenue for food as well. I've been to plenty of games at CA and never once purchased as much as a pretzel, but if they were to serve beer, I'll buy a beer or two, a pretzel, and maybe a hot dog. Hopefully, the new president and yet to be announced AD look into this. Below is an article on the revenue potential of serving beer at college sporting events.

"According to an Associated Press survey of the 21 beer-selling schools that own and operate their stadiums, about half their concessions revenue is derived from alcohol."

Oh joy the seats in CA aren't uncomfortable enough, now they will be sticky with spilled beer. Hard enough to maneuver in and out of the bleacher seats now people will be carrying full beer cups.

Same here, I've been to CA probably 30 times and haven't purchased a single item at the concessions. Being able to enjoy a beer at the game would make it a better experience. I know for me personally I would be more inclined to head to more games there.

They already have airport level security at the gate. 2 to 3 beer purchases will pay the hourly wage of a security personal. Great article though by ESPN
