True, for consistently good teams year in, and year out, games in December mean little.
Now, for consistently bad teams, I believe every game in December is huge.
Look at DePaul, in years past at this point in the season they'd be sagging, looks of "we're going to lose again", it's hard to play with that feeling.
This year those kids there are having a freaking there, and the kids who been there for the bad years, don't want this good feeling to stop. You know they can't wait till their next game, and having their fans cheer them on, after years of giving their fans nothing to cheer about.
Don't under estimate winning in December for some schools, it could go a long way.
