Would STJ be ranked right now if we didn't lose to UNC-Asheville.
Really hard for me to get over that game.

One more Q- if we can come out winning one of the (Cuse, Ville) games do we get ranked?
 
I say no b/c even if we had beaten UNCA we went and lost the next 2 of 3 games after that. Now if we can pull off an upset against either Syracuse or Louisville, then we probably get votes, but not ranked. Nova beat both in the same week I think but that didn't get them ranked.
 
No. If we could get back the Murray State, Rutgers, and Nova games back though we would be.

I think the Nova game bothers me the most, that was a horribly officiated game down the stretch, it was stolen from us. Rutgers and Asheville bother me simply because the talent difference is pretty big between SJU and those teams right now.

They would not be ranked right now even if the had beaten Asheville and they won't be ranked if they split Ville and Cuse. If they pull out a miracle and sweep them they will be ranked.
 
We may not be ranked if we split Cuse/L'Ville, but it makes our NCAA dreams much more feasible. We can at least flip a coin vs. Pitt, Notre Dame, Prov, Marquette, etc. Getting 1 win out of those 2 games will be huge.
