We are in the Knoxville group as a #8 seed

Double ouch! Nice to be in but put in a no win situation by the committee who fix the women's tourney in a way only a bookie could appreciate.

DePaul, who won the Big East tournament, only got a #7 seed
Not a lot of love shown for the new Big East
There are a lot of games being broadcast at the same time as our game on Saturday
Don't know if they will show our game locally or bounce back and forth from game to game

It's all about putting fans in the seats and bringing in $$$$$
Yukon, Notre Dame, Tennessee, North Carolina etc will all play at home at some time during the tournament
As bad as it is, it's the best situation for any 8 seed out there. We could've had to play UConn or ND second round, guaranteed losses. At least now there's a little chance we could pull off an upset, Tennessee isn't at the level of UConn or EnDee
Correct no one wants to play UCONN or ND in the second round.
It is the best we could have hoped for with a #8 seeding.
New Big East must go out and win some games this tournament to establish itself going forward.
