At noon today at CA. This is not a must win but would be our worst loss of the season if g d forbid we would loose. We are alone in first while they are in last place.
Let's make it 10 in a row and break into the top 25 for the first time in Coach Joey Ts brief tenure.
Go ladies.
 
22-15 with 10:01 left in the first half for the ladies.
Freshman Jade Walker with 6 and 3 to lead the way.

43-30 at the half with a lot of players contributing. Doing what a top team should do and taking care of business.

Now 18-5 and 11-1 in Big East
We have won 10 league games in a row and have an RPI of 12
We have to be in the Top 25 next week
 
I know that sometimes I have a bad habit of reading too much into things
But something early in this game bothered me
Udobi was taken out about 1 1/2 minutes into the game and appeared (to me) to give Coach T the "cold shoulder" when she passed him by
I did not notice her on the court again until there were about 6 minutes left in the game and we were already up by 20
Aubie - can you find out if there is anything to this or am I imagining something that wasn't there?

Thank you very much Mark. I can't see the game up in Canada and followed it on redstorm sports.com but it is stuck at 72-51 with 6:19 left for the past two hours on my phone. A very solid team effort and everyone played and contributed except as you mentioned Sandra played so little. ?????
We now have a week off in order to prepare for Villanova which is one of the better teams in the new Big East. Not sure these last two wins will move us into the top 25 but we will certainly be very close.
 
The Villanova game is also being televised

With an RPI of 12 they should be ranked. Imagine the men's team being in that situation.

With an RPI of 12 they should be ranked. Imagine the men's team being in that situation.

Well I just checked the scoreboard and saw that number 24 Michigan State lost by 20 earlier today to number 22 Nebraska and falls to 16-8. They should clearly be out of the top 25 on Monday and fall below SJU.
Did not see any other losses that would move us up. We will move up with the two wins this past week but not sure how much. In any event we are clearly on the right track and at present are the cream of the conference with a very good four lady recruiting class coming in for next season that plays the style of game the coaches want us to play. The future continues to look promising.
 
Really pleased to see the depth on this year's squad
We comfortably go nine deep
Glad to know that the incoming recruits are well suited to play in coach T's preferred style
Looks like the ladies program will be very competitive for years to come
